The Beaver Brown finish is probably the original paint it came with but of course, this coat is relatively new and it certainly gives that classy shine that we all love in classic cars. The name may not by catchy but that doesn’t really matter when you look at how beautiful it glows under the right lighting. The dashboard is believed to be original and it has the subtle glow that matches really well with the coupe. The bodywork seems to be in great condition and does not really show any signs of rust even before it was restored. Most of the chromes have been replaced or reworked, though, but that’s why they are glowing beautifully. The hood ornament, bumper, and signal lights are flawless and goes really well with the Cadillac, the same goes for the grilles on both sides of the hood and the stainless windows.

All of the interior parts seem to be period correct with a very sturdy textured brown vinyl upholstery that will surely last for a long time even if you have kids in the car. Everything looks to have been restored to exactly how it was made back in 1940. The original dashboard does have some cracks and fading but considering its age, it’s all minimal and leaving it there gives some memento to the cars long history.

The large classic steering also has some minor cracks but still looks really great. The shifter communicates with the 3-speed manual transmission really well and has no trouble moving through gears. All of the classic gauges are working and very visible with its solid markings. The original AM radio is still mounted but no longer function. The back seat has enough room for two adults. The trunk looks to be original but comes with a fresh spare tire. The original tan convertible top has some wears but it still works without any problems and will easily fold back with just a press of a button. The matching canvas looks really great and just adds to the sleek appearance of this classic cruiser.

A very reliable turnkey cruiser, you won’t have any second though when you use it as a daily driver even for long distances which is what you would want for any classic cruiser: the confidence to drive it. It has 69,110 original miles but the engine has been rebuilt when it was restored so the mileage after it was rebuilt is probably less than 25,000 miles.
