Ford Mustang Obsidian SG-One

This Mustang is one of the most expensive project cars that have ever been made. Over $1.3 million was spent on this Ford Mustang Obsidian SG-One. The SG stands for the initials of the owner of this car, Steve Groat.

This modified 1967 Mustang is Steve Groat’s project. The Obsidian is its color and SG is Steve’s initial. Only one Mustang Obsidian SG was made – that’s the reason why they added “One” on its name.

Under its hood, twin air-to-air intercoolers are located on top of a 392 cu in small block Ford and it is paired with a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed transmission. This car has no shift lever; a Master Shift steering wheel-mounted paddle shifter was used. The awesome built on its engine produced 847hp and 770 lb-ft.

A four point roll cage was used to reinforce its chassis and its floor was filled with aluminium belly pan. Obviously, this car’s body was heavily modified, its headlight was from 2005 Mustang and it has a full coil over suspension with three-link configuration.
